About This Service

Bathrooms have more hidden complexity than they look — waterproofing, ventilation, drain slopes, electrical for heated floors. Design choices made on paper can become problems behind the wall. ERC handles the whole stack in-house: we draft the layout, spec the rough plumbing and mechanical, then build it. Two-phase process: preconstruction (design, engineering, permits) flows into the main construction contract. The crew that sees the drawings is the same crew that swings the hammer. From a guest bath refresh to a 200-square-foot primary suite, you get one team accountable end-to-end.

Common Questions

Bathroom Renovation — answered

How much does a bathroom remodel cost on the Eastside?
Eastside design-build bathrooms run $35,000 to $120,000 in 2026. A guest bath refresh with new tile, vanity, and fixtures sits at the low end. A primary suite expansion with layout changes, walk-in shower, freestanding tub, heated floors, and luxury finishes sits at the top. Costs include waterproofing, mechanical updates, electrical for heated floors, permits, and finishes.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A guest bath typically runs 4–6 weeks of construction; a full primary suite remodel runs 8–12 weeks. Add 3–4 weeks of preconstruction (design, fixture selection, permits) on top.
What permits do I need for a bathroom remodel in Bellevue, Kirkland, or Redmond?
Most bathroom remodels require a building permit plus separate plumbing and electrical permits if you're moving fixtures or adding circuits. ERC pulls these on your behalf as part of preconstruction — you don't deal with the city directly. Permit review timelines vary 2–6 weeks across Eastside jurisdictions.
Can I keep using my bathroom during the remodel?
Not the one being remodeled. We plan around having at least one functional bathroom available. If you only have one bathroom and we're gutting it, we'll coordinate scope and timing to minimize the downtime to a single sprint rather than spread across weeks.
